Consulting Times

The doctors normally hold surgeries Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 11:20 and 15:50 to 18:00 

Appointments

All patients are seen by appointment and are for one person only. A number of appointments can be pre booked in advance, some opened the day before and the remainder on the day.

Patients with urgent medical problems will be seen on the same day although you may have to wait and will not have a choice of doctor.

If your appointment becomes unnecessary, please ensure it is cancelled.

Telephone Advice

The doctors are happy to give you advice over the telephone when they are not consulting. The reception staff have been asked not to interrupt the doctor if they are with a patient unless the call is urgent.

You may therefore be asked to phone back or your telephone number requested to enable the doctor to call when convenient.  

Home Visits

“Any patient who solely as a result of their illness is physically unable to be transported to the surgery, or where it would be medically unsafe to do so.”

The surgery with all its facilities is the best place to hold a consultation. However, if you are too ill to come to the surgery , please telephone for a visit before 10:30am.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit.

Urgent Out of Hours calls – ring 01908 377103

In common with 90% of Milton Keynes doctors, our “out of hours” are dealt with by a co-operative of local GP’s – MKDOC. 

All calls to the surgery are automatically diverted to MKDOC. 

When you telephone you may be given advice, asked to visit the Centre or be visited by a doctor.

If you need advice or you are unsure as to whether you need to see a doctor, NHS Direct can help you. This service is available 24 hours a day and a nurse can give you advice over the telephone. Tel: 08454647
